Special thanks to Kevin over at Club Loose for letting us get some coverage of Club Loose Opening Moves! It was my first time at one of the Club Loose Events and it was incredible. Mike Hyatt and I had a blast hanging with some really gnarly dudes w. some sick race cars. We went out there too support our drivers, Chris Allen & Matt Powalie, and they sure as hell killed it!

Better late then never right?!? Club Loose’s East Coast Bash is, in short, a weekend of chaos. Over 100 cars came to invade Englishtowns Raceway Parks road course to make the worlds largest smoke machine. Camp outs, barbecues, screeching tires and a load of friends made for a awesome weekend of drifting.
It was a sunny and brisk April spring day. Drifters from far and near came to invade Englishtown’s Raceway Park to rip up their road course. The sound of screeching tires and plooms of smoke filled the air throughout the entire day. For Club Loose’s first event of the year, it was a nice turnout even after hearing how a lot of enthusiast cars weren’t ready to participate yet. Next event is coming up soon and its only going to be bigger. Check out www.Clubloose.com too keep up to date with future events.
In 2009, Club Loose hosted quite a number of events throughout the year catering to drifters of newb status to the pro’s. With the great turnouts in 2009, I’m curious to see what they have in store for 2010. I guess we just have to wait and see.
